Spoilt

This week I received my DUDQS doll quilt from none other than Amy of Badskirt and it is just A-MAZ-ING!!

Of course as the swap mama I knew that Amy was making for me (not to mention very smug that I managed to draw her name), but I thought it was possible she might double bluff me and secretly swap with someone else in the swap.  So i didn't let myself get too excited that what she was making would be coming to my place.

The quilt is just wonderful!  Amazing fabrics, wonderful bits of text and gorgeous piecing by Amy…

The binding and backing fabrics are fabulous too…

Amy very generously included some heavenly co-ordinating scraps too in colours that I love!  I think I will have to make a pouch using them all together.  She also included a large piece of seed packet print fabric I have never seen before.  It is to die for!

I have bought Japanese fabric from Amy in the past and  I can tell you - this girl knows how to buy!!
